Life is normal in Knapeley village. When the women go to the WI meetings the men go to the pub. Chris & Rod’s son Danny is
pitching to be Head Boy helped by his best mate Tommo. Celia is still a terrible golf player despite her husband Denis being the club captain. Cora & Tommo still live in fear of their vicar father/grandfather. Ruth still bakes prolifically and sets up the WI hall on her own every week for the meetings. Jessie & Colin enjoy their retirement coffee every morning over the crossword puzzle. Marie pretends nothing went wrong in Cheshire forcing her to return to Knapeley with her wayward daughter Jenny. Until… Annie’s husband John is diagnosed with terminal cancer and their collective world turns upside down as Chris & Annie try to persuade the girls that creating a nude calendar is a great idea as a fund raiser.
