Magical, romantic, and brimming with heart, Amelie brings Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s five-time Oscar-nominated film to the stage with humour and imagination. The show follows Amélie, an inventive but shy young woman who lives vividly inside her own imagination, as she secretly improvises small acts of mischief and kindness for those around her, so she can be her own Parisian Lady Di. When a kindred soul a crossed her path, Amélie realises she’ll need to move beyond the lonely isolation of her youth and allow herself to be truly seen.
Focusing on the theatricality and imagination of this beautiful production, the creative team want to focus on creating an immersive world that the audience and the cast can feel lost in. This is a show that speaks straight to the heart and we are hoping to build together a cast who can bring their own full hearts to the project.

Zoë is over the moon to be leading her first show for BROS after being impressed multiple times by previous shows of theirs.

Chris Nash
Chris has been a member of BROS for 7 years, performing in shows including High Society, Sweeney Todd and Kipps. He has previously musical directed ‘Life is a Cabaret’ at the OSO and several BROS Academy workshops, however he is excited to be MDing his first full BROS show!
Prior to joining BROS Chris has MDed shows for other companies including The Last Five Years, High Society, and Assassins at the Edinburgh Fringe. He is looking forward to working with an ensemble cast of talented BROS members to bring the best possible sound out of Amelie’s wonderful score.

Rebecca Tarry
Rebecca has been a member of BROS since 2017 and has performed in a number of shows at Hampton Hill, Richmond & The Minack Theatres. As much as she loves prancing about on stage, she also loves being behind the scenes. As a freelance Creative Producer, she relishes the opportunity to get her hands on a spreadsheet or nice juicy budget. She loves supporting the creative teams to do their best work and making sure all cast & crew have the best experience possible. Her previous producing credits for BROS include Calendar Girls, The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What? and Assistant Producer on Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.
