When: Tuesday 28th May

Attending another fake knees up in a pub/tavern/brothel? Clutching your third plastic champagne glass of the night? World expert at supporting roles, bit parts and ‘backting’, and 1/12th NODA award-winner for Best Ensemble in a Musical, Faye Brann shares some improvisation techniques and toolkit that will help you build character and status for even the tiniest of roles, to keep you creatively challenged while the principals stand in front of you and move the plot forward.
We’ll start off with some improvisation games that will unleash your creativity. Then we’ll move onto creating realistic, dynamic characters, and finally, work on using status to build relationships with your fellow ensemble members.
A fun evening and a safe space to explore your inner (and outer) ensemble self, this workshop is for anyone who aspires to be a critically acclaimed chorus member and creator of joy.
