The clock is ticking, and at the time of writing there are just 7 weeks to go before the opening night of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!
Rehearsals are in full swing, and our fantastic cast are being put through their paces in order to bring our audiences this lively and hilarious musical in May. But who are our scoundrels? In the video below, you can take a look at just a few of our principal cast.
Looking good, eh?
Our cast is lead by Jason Thomas as Lawrence Jamieson, a smooth con man living on the French Riviera. It’s a profitable living, too, thanks to the help (and discretion) of local Police chief Andre Thibault, played by Alexander McKinven. Profitable, that is, until young American upstart Freddy Benson, played by John Paul Suterland, arrives in town. Freddy’s brash, bold, and ready to be stinking rich, and he latches on to Lawrence hoping to learn from the master.
As well as dealing with each other, Lawrence and Freddy also cross paths with Muriel Eubanks – played by Louise Ellard-Tunbull – a wealthy divorcee with eyes on Andre, the rootin’ tootin’ Jolene – played by Heather Stockwell – and self-styled American soap queen Christine, played by Sarah Thatcher.
What transpires is a fast-paced musical comedy which is sure to have you laughing and singing along. For more, including our full cast list and a more detailed synopsis of the show, head over to our show page.
