And we are really excited about our first in-person event for quite some time: A Day of Dance.\n\nPut together by Jen Moorhead and our talented team of BROS choreographers\, the day will be fun\, informal\, footloose and fancy free – it’s not a workshop where you need to impress anyone\, it’s a pressure-free environment where you can come and move around. Pick and choose what you join in for\, and dance your socks off all day if you want to!\n\nThe Dances\nThe dances revisit some of the favourites from our online Kitchen Dancing sessions during lockdown and include:\n\nBack In The Room Where It Happens  – Sian Bowles-Bevan\nThe Prom – Gemma Melhuish\nLe Jazz Hot – Rachel Williams\nShow How Me You Burlesque – Karen Swift\n\nThe Plan\nThe day will run from 11am – 5pm\, with four numbers and plenty of breaks in-between. With a nose for crime and an ear for music\, Frank has his work cut out trying to find the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline. \nFrom creators of Cabaret and Chicago\, this Tony award-winning backstage murder mystery musical will have audiences laughing and guessing right to the final curtain. \nWe have discounted Band B tickets for Wednesday 15th January 2020\, 7.30pm at the New Wimbledon Theatre.

SUMMARY:Sister Act - Launch Night
DESCRIPTION:Come to the Launch Night of Sister Act which BROS will be performing at the Minack Theatre\, Cornwall in May 2019\, and find out how you can be part of this uplifting production. \nIt’s a modern show with at its heart a magnificent score by the great Alan Menken. The songs and the story are easily accessible\, bursting with an energy and joyfulness that will leave the audience tapping toes\, smiling and humming the tunes. \nSister Act is truly an ensemble show and we are looking for a big\, strong company who can sing and move well.  It has 15 principal roles (9 female and 6 male)\, plus ensemble\, with playing ages from 16 to 70 years old … and yes\, we’d love to see a full spectrum of ages on the stage! \nOur aim is that you’ll leave every rehearsal feeling genuinely uplifted – although at this stage we won’t be offering a money-back guarantee! \nWe can’t wait for the Minack cliffs to be alive with the sound of Sister Act.  Come along and find out about our vision and plans for Sister Act at the Minack in 2019 at our launch night on Thursday November 8th at St Michaels Church Hall\, Elm Bank Gardens\, Barnes SW13 0NX at 8pm. SUMMARY:High Society - show week
DESCRIPTION:High Society is a musical based on the film of the same name which starred Grace Kelly\, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. This in turn was based on the Phillip Barry play ‘The Philadelphia Story’ the film of which stars Cary Grant\, Katherine Hepburn\, and Jimmy Stewart. The show features a score by Cole Porter and uses songs he wrote specifically for the production\, along with a number of songs from his back catalogue. The story focuses on a wedding between a Long Island socialite and a pretentious executive that is thrown into disarray when her ex-husband arrives back on the scene. The year is 1938 and the era gives us an excuse to brighten up autumnal October with some lovely late deco glamour as we take a voyeuristic peak into the lives of the rich and glamorous inhabitants of Newport\, Rhode Island. \nGrab your invite\, get dressed up and join in the fun!
