Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tells the story of two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera, who all collide in this sassy and irreverent musical farce. Based on the 1988 MGM film of the same name, the hilarious Dirty Rotten Scoundrels features a crackerjack of a score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for an incredible 11 Tony Awards.
BROS is pleased to be returning to the Minack Theatre, having previously enjoyed successful runs with the likes of Carousel in 2015, Mack & Mabel in 2013 and Guys and Dolls in 2011. In fact, the society has a history of performing in this iconic venue which stretches back almost 25 years!
Society chairman Susi Pink said: “BROS has such a strong history in visiting the unique Minack Theatre, and we’ve been delighting audiences there since 1993, when we first performed with Mr Cinders. Since then, we’re lucky enough to have been invited back time and again, and we’re busy making sure that Dirty Rotten Scoundrels upholds our reputation for vibrant musical theatre.”
